PROGRAM

1 DAY
Hello Iceland, nice to meet you!
We start our program early in the morning. We meet for breakfast in one of the local restaurants in Reykjavik. We drink coffee and discuss the plan for the week.
Now we know each other a little, so we can safely get into our jeeps and go to meet adventures.

The journey begins!
Guys, this is Iceland, Iceland, this is the guys
The first thing we will go to see is the Kerid volcano crater, yes, it is a real volcano crater, it is not big, but very picturesque. We will go around it and look inside.

Our next stop is Thingvellir National Park, the only UNESCO site in Iceland. The park is located right between the European and North American tectonic plates and is famous for its natural beauty. This is the best place on the planet to see the edges of these two continents. The Icelandic Parliament was founded here, the oldest functioning parliament in the world, Althingi.

After lunch, we will visit the Geysir geyser, which gave its name to all other similar phenomena on the planet :)

Now it is mostly dormant, but the nearby Strokkur geyser erupts about every 5 minutes. This spectacle is truly impressive. The ground around is painted in different colors, and hot springs are found at every step.

The fourth natural wonder of the day is the full-flowing and powerful Gullfoss waterfall. Gullfoss is one of the most impressive waterfalls in Iceland. Its size and power are amazing. You can admire it from several viewing platforms. Getting to know the island, we will see three natural wonders that describe Iceland in the best possible way. We will see the geyser - Strokkur, the Gullfoss waterfall and the lava crater Kerid. This day will be a mini-promo of the entire trip.

In the evening, we will arrive at our Scandinavian house, where we will cook dinner, warm up in the sauna and admire the incredible landscape from the thermal pool.
2 DAY
Mars is awesome!
Today we’re heading to one of the most remote yet stunning locations on the island – the geothermal area of Kerlingarfjöll. This place feels more like a painting made with gouache or watercolor, with a landscape so unreal, it amazes with its colors.

We’ll spend the entire day in this park, walking along paths and stairways, and taking hundreds—maybe even thousands—of photos. The Kerlingarfjöll geothermal area is one of the most surreal places, not just in Iceland, but in the world. You’ll often feel like you’ve stepped into an artist’s studio, surrounded not by real landscapes, but by a canvas, beautifully painted with incredible colors.

In the evening, we’ll return to our cozy house, have dinner, relax, and share our impressions of the day.
3 DAY
Valley of Smokes
Today we’re heading deeper into the island again. We’ll explore the Valley of Smoke, see one of the most beautiful cascading waterfalls, walk along the edge of a red crater with a turquoise lake in the center, experience Iceland’s “otherworldly” landscapes, and bathe in wild hot springs with views of mountain cirques.

Let’s be honest, Landmannalaugar is our favorite place in Iceland. We’ve spent a lot of time here, exploring different hiking routes. We know this area very well and invite you to join us on the most beautiful trail in this national park.

We’ll hike up the mountains, where breathtaking views of the colorful hills and endless rivers, streams, and canyons await. If you’ve ever imagined an alien landscape, this is probably what it would look like. The yellow, blue, and green tones combined with the unique terrain make this view truly incredible.
Another exciting part of the day will be visiting the park’s base camp, which has natural hot springs. We’ll grab a snack at a small restaurant inside an old American bus, dance around the campfire, and experience true camping life.

You can SEE photos from our last hiking tour in Landmannalaugar HERE.

After an amazing and eventful day, we’ll return to our stylish house

4 DAY
South
Today, we’re off to explore Iceland’s southern coast. We’ll visit three breathtaking waterfalls: Skógafoss, Seljalandsfoss, and Nauthúsagil. Each one is unique and incredibly beautiful. We’ll take some amazing photos, get a little wet, and dry off in the wind.

After a couple of hours, we’ll be ready for a snack, so we’ll stop by a local bakery for coffee and delicious pastries.
Warmed up, satisfied with good food and a great view of the nearby cliffs, we’re ready to continue. We’ll head to the famous black sand beach with basalt columns at Reynisfjara and the towering cliffs of Dyrhólaey. We’ll feel the salty ocean spray on our faces, try lying in the wind, and stand above the abyss.

Are you ready for a photo hunt? These cliffs are home to a colony of puffins—adorable local birds and another symbol of Iceland.

We’ll spend the evening at the glacial lagoon with icebergs, Jökulsárlón, and take a walk along the famous Diamond Beach.

Tonight, we’ll stay on the eastern coast.
5 DAY
Stokksness, glaciers and canyons
Today we’ll find ourselves in the southeast of Iceland, dedicating the day to exploring its stunning landscapes. We’ll be surrounded by incredible scenery: black sands, jagged green canyons, and endless blue glaciers. Stokksnes is a favorite spot for landscape photographers, with its vast open space, white sea foam, dark blue ocean, black lava sand, cliffs, and bright green tufts of grass—a breathtaking combination, isn’t it?

We’ll spend the morning at the beach, taking photos and soaking in the beauty and energy of this magnificent place.

After taking in the landscape, we’ll head off to experience the cold and rugged side of Iceland. The country’s name includes “Ice” for a reason—our next destination is the glaciers.
How many shades of blue, grey, and black can you imagine? Iceland’s glaciers can take your breath away every time you see them. We’ve known them for so long that it pains us to watch them melt so quickly. We feel incredibly lucky to be able to see them again and again, to marvel at the beauty of the pure, transparent ice and the unique patterns nature creates.

After lunch, we’ll head to a canyon that offers a strikingly different landscape: black rocks, vibrant green moss, and a blue river winding through steep cliffs.

For dinner, we’ll go to one of our favorite restaurants, known for its delicious Arctic char, tender lamb, and a local dessert made from Icelandic Skyr yogurt.

In the evening, we’ll check into a new hotel with a great spa area where we can relax and unwind after a full day.
6 DAY
A very Icelandic day
Today is the last day of our tour. After a good breakfast, we’ll pack our things and head to a horse farm, where we’ll have the chance to do a photo session with the horses and even go for a ride. Icelandic horses are special—a local breed that has been raised on the island for centuries. Importing horses is forbidden, so these unique animals are truly a symbol of the country.

Afterwards, we’ll have lunch at a lovely seafood restaurant and then head to the Sky Lagoon spa. We’ll spend a few hours enjoying the thermal waters, open lava pools, and a sauna with ocean views.

On this pleasant note, our tour comes to an end. We’ll say goodbye but look forward to seeing each other again soon.
