We leave Wenceslas Square at 6:00. We are waiting for the move to Tyrol. We are going to the real Austrian mountains!

Seebensee is a high mountain lake in Tyrol, located at an altitude of 1657 m above sea level. It is small but surrounded by the peaks of the Alps and is therefore a great place for hiking. The lake is located in close proximity to the Austrian-German border near the Olympic city of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the Wetterstein mountains. Due to its location, the lake offers a breathtaking view of Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze.

The path will lead us to the mountains through the forest and meadows, we will gain height and climb to a small plateau and a mountain cirque, where Lake Seebensee hidden.

Hiking - 9 km

In the evening we move to a small town for an overnight stay.

We will have an early breakfast and transfer to the city of Ortisei, in winter it is a ski resort, and in summer the starting point of many colorful hiking trails. We leave the car in the parking and move forward to the goal.
Our trail will pass through the cedar forest, winding through the foothills from one mountain shelter (hutte) to another. In the middle of the way, you can stop for a bite to eat, try the local cuisine, drink fresh cow's milk. The views will be wonderful, in any weather we will be able to enjoy the beauty that fills the local valleys and ravines. By lunch we will be at the point we need, from where Seceda will open in all its glory. Soft and sloping on one side, but dangerous and sharp on the other. This mountain is full of character and somewhat similar to many of us humans.

We will have enough time to admire the rocks, take many photos and then we will go back to our parking.

We will be at the car around 14:00-15:00.
Full of impressions we will go back to Prague.
